The Distinguished Gentleman is a one-of-a-kind writing bureau created as functional art - a piece designed to be a focal point, not background furniture.

The bureau features a carefully selected single artwork applied using a fine-art decoupage technique. This image has been meticulously positioned by hand, then built up and sealed through multiple stages to create a smooth, durable, and integrated finish that becomes part of the surface rather than sitting on top of it. 

The lower section has been hand-painted and softly blended to ground the piece and bring balance to the overall composition, allowing the artwork to take centre stage while maintaining depth and cohesion throughout the design.
