My Story

From careful brushstrokes to full restorations - every piece is a labour of love.

My journey began in 2020, at the very start of the pandemic, when I opened Lavender Grove — a small boutique filled with carefully chosen women’s clothing, accessories, and gifts.
Like many small businesses during that time, I had to adapt. I began upcycling furniture at home and discovered Frenchic paint along the way. What started as a necessity quickly became a passion — one that brought comfort, creativity, and a sense of purpose during an uncertain time.
Today, I specialise in commissioned and bespoke furniture, thoughtfully transforming each piece by hand. I also design custom lampshades and restore vintage chairs, often creating beautifully curated matching sets. Every piece has its own story, and I take great care in honouring that.
Since October 2024, I’ve been sharing this passion through workshops — from beginners’ upcycling to Chair Fest upholstery and decorative effects. These days have become some of my most rewarding, watching confidence grow and creativity flourish.
Lavender Grove is no longer just a boutique. It’s a place to slow down, work with intention, and breathe new life into beautiful pieces.
Thank you for being here, for supporting my small business, and for being part of this journey.
