Terms & Conditions – Lavender Grove
Workshop Cancellation Policy
At Lavender Grove, we strive to offer the best experience for all workshop participants. Please read the following terms before booking:
1. Non-Refundable Workshop Places
Once booked, workshop places are non-refundable.
If you are unable to attend, you may rebook onto the next available workshop.
Please notify us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend.
2. Illness
We understand illness can occur. If you are unwell and unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you on another date. The earlier you notify us, the more flexible we can be.
3. Workshop Cancellation by Lavender Grove
If fewer than 2 participants are booked for a workshop, Lavender Grove reserves the right to cancel the session. In this case, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another date.
4. Securing Your Place
Your workshop place is only secured once full payment has been received.

Refunds & Returns Policy – Furniture & Decorative Items
At Lavender Grove, all of our items — including upcycled furniture, décor, lampshades and decorative handmade pieces — are unique, one-of-a-kind creations. Each item is individually restored, crafted or designed by hand.
Because of the bespoke nature of our products, the following terms apply:
1. Sold as Seen
  • All Lavender Grove items are sold as seen.
  • Upcycled and handmade pieces may show natural texture, aging, character or small imperfections that are part of their charm.
  • These features are not considered faults.
  • Please review all photos, descriptions and measurements carefully before purchasing.
2. No Returns or Refunds (All Items)
  • All sales are final.
  • We do not accept returns or offer refunds due to the unique nature of our handmade and upcycled pieces.
  • This applies to all product types, including:
  • Upcycled furniture
  • Decorative bottles
  • Trinket boxes
  • Resin items
  • Baubles
  • Wall art
  • Lampshades
  • Gift items
  • Any bespoke or custom-made pieces
  • This policy applies to all payment methods, including Klarna and other Buy Now Pay Later options.
3. Faulty Goods
If you believe your item is genuinely faulty (not related to handmade characteristics or age), please contact us within 48 hours of collection with clear photographs.
Please note this does not cover:
  • Artistic variations
  • Resin texture
  • Expected imperfections from the upcycling process
  • Wear due to age
  • Damage after collection
  • Environmental factors (heat, damp, placement)
4. Collection & Delivery
  • We strongly encourage collection in person for safe handling.
  • Delivery/shipping can be arranged after purchase.
  • Delivery fees apply and must be paid before dispatch.
  • Items are shipped within the UK only.
5. Lampshades & Made-to-Order Items
  • All lampshades, personalised items, made-to-order pieces and bespoke commissions are non-refundable once created.
  • Cancelled custom orders cannot be refunded once work has begun.
Customer Responsibility (Furniture & Lampshades)
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure purchased items are installed, used or displayed safely and in accordance with guidance.
Photography at Workshops
We love capturing the creativity and fun of our workshops. Photographs may be taken for promotional use (website, social media and marketing).
If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform us before or at the start of your workshop, and we will ensure you are not included in any images.
